About the event

This potent two-day workshop uses the breath as an entry point to settle the nervous system and dive deeply into your own internal terrain - activate the body’s natural healing, promote self-exploration, release tension, trauma, stuck emotions, old beliefs and awaken that deep, wise and eternal voice inside. We do this by tenderly touching those parts of ourselves that need to be seen, released, and bringing them back into love. Using the breath, we dive deeply into sacred stillness and a journey of sensual, somatic breathwork practices, ceremony, womb-heart openings, and cleansing rituals. The invitation here is for you to step into a tender space to move back to your centre.

Breathwork is a profoundly somatic and therapeutic process that activates the body’s natural healing, promotes self-exploration, self-awareness and offers a path to conscious transformation. There are many different modalities of breathwork, each has its own unique methods of using breath for healing purposes. The And B.R.E.A.T.H.E: Women’s Breathwork Immersion will use breath as an entry point for a number of somatic breathwork sessions, weaving together gentle, deep breathing sessions, active meditations, and shamanic breathwork, creating a safe inner space to explore the physical, emotional and mental body. It is a space to explore the magic and mystery of the breath, a simple, ever-present and sacred tool.

Nestled in a native blue gum forest and set against the backdrop of a luscious tropical rainforest, lies Numala Forest Retreat, a sanctuary for those frazzled by life, its challenges or monotony. Numala means 'embrace' in the language spoken by the Yugambeh tribe who were the original indigenous inhabitants of this land, and aptly describes what the Retreat has to offer - an opportunity to embrace peace, stillness and step into quiet. Numala Forest Retreat was built in 2017 in Bonogin, a Hinterland locality and is only a 10-minute drive from Robina Town Centre and the M1, a mere 25 minutes from the local Gold Coast airport.

Note: This immersion is limited to 12 women, so book your place to ensure you can be part of this experience.
